Initial overprinting experiments for a potential campaign aiming to get newspaper readers to ignore sensationalist journalism and consider other more fair and reliable news sources.

Trouble is - it looks very similar to the lovely work by Luke Robertson & Aaron Gillett

Party Hard

A screen print I produced that questions the morality of the celebrations held when Osama Bin Laden was pronounced dead. There were scenes of mass celebration seen Worldwide, but most notably across the United States of America, where hundreds of street parties were held. But is this okay?

It is a morally grey area, because of the tragic terrorist attacks Bin Laden was responsible for across the Globe - but does that make it okay to celebrate a mans death as much as it is to celebrate the death of a US soldier after hundreds of innocent people have been killed in the Middle East?

I should probably get off Tumblr, my deadline is in 9.5 hours. But here is something nice I did on Friday, and is for my final major project.

A little event I’m throwing at college this Friday. Come and try out the Print Gocco, and leave with your own unique print!

“Successfully” tuned my room into a print studio. Well kinda… its more like a giant drying rack at the moment!

These are the first set of gocco prints I’m working on for my FMP. Just backgrounds so far.

A short video for my project of me exposing my first gocco screen and then inking/printing it.

The repeat pattern is the first layer of a cover that will be on the front of a ‘Gocco Guide’.

My room stinks of ink now. I love it.
